Life drawing

I found a few videos about life drawing on YouTube and they encourage you to draw along so i did! :D Some were only short poses so i could only get a outline then some were longer around 10-15 mins.

And taking insperation from these videos i draw Leeloo (My black lab/german shepard mix puppy) sleeping, i think she knew because she didnt stay in each 'pose' for more then 5 mins.

I recently downloaded Paint Tool SAI (you can download it here http://www.systemax.jp/en/sai ) and in some ways it's better than photoshop.

Well i finished adding colour to it! Check it out, theres parts i could improve but pratice makes perfect!

Halloween!

Yes i know i'm a few days late on the post but at least i'm posting right?
So for halloween i went to have a horror film/girly night at my friends house and costume was required... Now any chance to dress up i will, it's a bit of fun!

There were 5 of us in total and the costumes were Sherlock, Evil Ventriloquists Dummy, Cheerleader, Super girl and Devil (me!), it was a fun night but the film got over shadowed by the drink and giggling. But the day after i couldn't resist doing a little sketch of all of us, so here they are!

And now a added bonus to prove that was my outfit... Devil Vouge! (lol)

And now for something different, it's not a sketch but i designed a thank you card for a lady who bought me a 'tea for one' set after it came up in conversation that i liked them!

A promise to myself!

So i promised myself that i would Sketch/Draw more and so far i have been failing, so after seeing that an old friend of mine had started up a blog i thought why not? Her blog is here ---> http://ladybothwell.blogspot.com/ go check her out... but watch out she's into Twilight... hehehe.

Plus it gives me change to share my ideas and drawing with family and friends over the pond!

So i'm gonna make another promise to myself now... i PROMISE to update this at least once a week with a new sketch or finished piece! So lets start off with some that i've been working on this week!

I found some small sheets of blue card last week and sketched this with a ballpoint pen...

I thought this one was cute enough to finish so i am adding colour digitally and with upload the finished piece asap!
